Male Fertility is often a missing piece of the puzzle in fertility investigations and interventions. Only 30% of sub-fertility is attributed solely to hurdles within female heath (BFS, 2026). The rest is solely or partly due to male fertility.
At A D Acupuncture, we understand the importance of male fertility and sperm health, supporting both individuals and couples to optimise their fertility. Chinese medicine has been utilising acupuncture for male fertility for 2000 years (Feng et al, 2022).
Sperm is being made on a cyclical basis on 74 days, and highly influenced by both internal and external factors (Britannica Editors, 2025). This means that improvements in sperm parameters can be possible just within a 3 month window.
Male Fertility Acupuncture
Understanding Sperm Health
We strongly encourage appropriate testing for sperm, including semen analysis, Sperm DNA fragmentation tests and semen cultures where appropriate. We support our patients to understand these tests and signpost for them when needed. Navigating next steps with Male fertility can be confusing and overwhelming, but we hold you through the process, making you feel balanced, supported and empowered.
A D Acupuncture is designed to support you through every stage of life.
Where many clinics focus on a single moment—fertility, pregnancy, menopause—we honour the full spectrum of your health. Our approach is truly holistic: we look at your current signs and symptoms, but also the story behind them. We consider your past experiences, the health patterns that shaped you, and the future you want to move toward.
